Purchase Order / 'PO Flip' processing is not currently available in Germany. 


To "flip" the Purchase Order into an Invoice, simply click the 'Create Invoice' button on the Purchase Order screen. 



Auto-transfer of PO details to the invoice

Do NOT change the recipient during PO flip as it will fail the validation. 

The invoice should be issued to the same HSBC Group entity from which the PO was raised and forwarded. 



Details, such as Purchase Order Number, Quantity, Description, UOM, currency are copied from the PO and are used to create the invoice. 


Enriching the Invoice

Enter the invoice number.



You may add up to 4 attachments of 3Mb each in one of the following formats Jpeg, Tiff, BMP, PNG, img, pdf.

Once all the required fields are complete, you can Preview the invoice or Send it. 


 


Real time validation of invoice information

Tradeshift will highlight any corrections you need to make before sending the document. 



Further validation against the Purchase Order

Invoices which fail validation against the corresponding PO will show as "FAILED DELIVERY" in the document list. 

Click on the document to view the error messages.

Tradeshift will again highlight any corrections you need to make before re-submitting the document.
